Troop 228 joined the Venture Crew for a Philmont prep hike on Sunday, October 11th. The 7-9 mile trek topped at 1,500 feet above sea level and had spectacular views of the Hudson River. Our scouts found an abandoned bulldozer that they would have rode out if they could. Thanks to Carl Gebauer for organizing and Bob Moore for documenting this event!
