Congratulations to our newest group of Eagle Scouts! Troop 228 acknowledges the work and leadership of five scouts- John Enoch, Billy Folchetti, Shane Healy, Eric Krawetz and Jake Zorabedian. Attending the ceremony were friends, family, mentors and many honored guests, including County Legislature Chairman Michael Kaplowitz, County Legislator Francis Corcoran, 94th Assembly District Candidate Kevin Byrne and Town Supervisor Rick Morrissey. The young men’s Eagle Scout projects included:
John Enoch – Constructed shelving units & organized contents for the Church of St. Mary of the Assumption in Katonah, NY
Billy Folchetti – Refurbished the exterior walls and built a trail for the Hebrew Congregation of Somers, NY
Shane Healy – Built a boardwalk to protect wildlife on Faulkner Island, CT
Eric Krawetz – Built a 125-foot long hiking bridge at Angle Fly Preserve, NY
Jake Zorabedian – Refurbished the grounds of the Westchester Exceptional Children’s School, NY
